The value for money at this lovely historic cottage was exceptional, providing all the facilities we needed for a comfortable four-day break. The location surrounded by beautiful countryside offered a variety of walks right on our doorstep, and the informative and friendly hosts made us feel truly welcome throughout our stay.

The general areas of the cottage were well-maintained and had a cozy and welcoming feel. As a senior woman, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the cottage, with no stairs or steep slopes to navigate. It was perfect for a relaxing and comfortable stay.

I would have preferred if the children working there had been more attentive and helpful during our stay.

It was full of charm and had a quirky appeal. the cottage had another attached cottage, but luckily we had the whole place to ourselves. the shared garden was unusual and added to the overall charm. the location was perfect, with wonderful walks down to the marshes and a local dog, friendly pub and café nearby. the hosts, Beverley and John, were very friendly and informative, making our stay even more enjoyable. the cottage itself was cozy and comfortable, with effective heating and a welcoming sitting room. We also loved the close proximity to the coastal salt marshes, perfect for bird watching, and the convenience of the nearby coast, hopper bus route. Tea and biscuits upon arrival were a lovely touch. Cons: Not obvious to find. 😕.
